About Run,Romp,Stay! Dogsitting

We’re a retired couple who love dogs and the joy they bring into everyday life. For the past 12 years, we’ve been offering pet sitting in the Tasman region — providing reliable, loving care to dogs of all shapes and sizes.

With plenty of time at home, we’re able to offer constant companionship and attention to the dogs who stay with us — treating them as part of the family.

Our home is set on a fully fenced lifestyle block with over a hectare of park-like grounds for the dogs to enjoy. It’s a peaceful, safe space where dogs can run, explore, and relax. They love chasing each other up and down the rolling hills, sniffing around the mature plantings for hidden rabbits, or burying a favorite toy in just the right spot.

There are a couple of special “sitting spots” around the property — perfect for a quiet break or a bit of neighborhood watch. Whether it’s active play or calm observation, there's something here for every personality.

Our resident dog, Twig — a Welsh Springer Spaniel — is a wonderful host. He gets along with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and helps new arrivals settle in with ease.
